What Sujeo stores
Your recipes, notes, photos, favorites and settings are stored on your device only. We do not have a server that receives them, and we cannot see them. If you delete the app, this data is deleted with it.
What Sujeo sends over the internet
- Importing a link. When you paste or share a recipe link, your phone downloads that web page directly from the recipe site to read the recipe. The request goes from your phone to that site, as it would in a browser. It does not pass through any server of ours. The site you visit may see your phone request the page under its own privacy policy.
- Checking a saved photo. For recipes you imported from a link, Sujeo may later request the original page again to refresh the recipe photo. This works the same way.
Permissions you may be asked for
- Camera. To scan a printed recipe, take photos of your dishes, and notice a hand wave when hands-free cooking is on. Images are processed on your device.
- Microphone and speech recognition. To hear commands such as "next" and "start a timer" while you cook. On iPhone, recognition runs on the device. Audio is not recorded or sent to us.
- Photos. Only the pictures you choose to add to a recipe.
You can turn any of these off in iOS Settings at any time. Sujeo still works for the rest.
Sharing
When you share a recipe, the share sheet is provided by iOS. What you send, and to whom, is your choice. Sujeo does not keep a copy or a record of it.
Third parties and analytics
Sujeo contains no advertising, analytics or tracking software, and shares nothing with data brokers. Apple provides the App Store and may collect its own standard app-usage data under Apple’s privacy policy.
Children
Sujeo does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
